WHAT IS A THERMAPAN MANUFACTURING AGENT?
Manufacturing Agents (MA) are intermediaries who represent Thermapan in local geographic areas, focusing on the residential, custom home building market.We are currently accepting new MA’s in markets throughout Ontario, Quebec,New England and the Great Lake States.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MANUFACTURING AGENT?
MA’s are typically already engaged in custom home building using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).MA’s will take on additional responsibilities in representing Thermapan, such as:

  • Handling inquiries and sales of SIPs to builders and end-user customers;
  • Pre-sales servicing: advising and preparing take-offs;
  • Post-sales servicing: installation advice and reporting quality issues to Thermapan;
  • Networking to promote SIPs in the MA’s territory;
  • Representing Thermapan at local Home Shows;
  • Facilitating Thermapan communication with local building authorities.


WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A THERMAPAN AGENT?
As a Thermapan MA,you will receive deep discount pricing on all SIP orders, increasing margins on your own building projects and introducing new revenue streams to your business through markup on other sales.You’ll also open up new avenues for increasing SIP installation revenues, if applicable.

WHAT SUPPORT DOES THERMAPAN OFFER TO MANUFACTURING AGENTS?
Thermapan will provide new MAs with a full supply of marketing materials, and re-orders provided at cost. In addition,Thermapan will forward all telephone and Web site inquiries/leads to the MA in the respective territory. Thermapan will support MA’s with any necessary servicing, training and engineering assistance. We are also responsible for educating local building inspectors in your area.

DO I QUALIFY AS A THERMAPAN MANUFACTURING AGENT?
The criteria to become a Thermapan Manufacturing Agent are:

  • Experience in home building with Thermapan SIPs;


  • Membership in the local builders’ association;


  • Registration in the appropriate new home warranty program;


  • Entrepreneurial outlook with a growth-oriented business focus.
